...That is 140 years ago on March 31, 1881! At the time the Eiffel Tower was the tallest building in the world!! Imagine the excitement for those that reached the top, over 900 feet into the sky, with nothing but the city below.
Today it still remains a top global attraction! Currently the tower is closed due to COVID. But only temporarily! Slowly the world will start to open up again, and the Eiffel Tower will soon follow.
